How long will our democracy last?

By admin ~ March 18th, 2011 @ 10:14 am
About around the time our country was founded, a person from Great Britain said that a democracy would only last until the people realize they can vote themselves money out of the treasury. Have we reached that point?

I don’t know, regardless it will end that much sooner if Hillary or Obama win.

Bush and company almost destroyed it. Luckily, there is no way they can cancel the next election because of “national security” or “presidential privilege”.

It will last as long as mankind does. Don’t worry if we voted for the money from the treasury we would be voting for chaos.

    What treasury and what democracy?

The treasury has long been empty. Democracy has been disposed of, thrown away by those who cried ” Save, protect us please….” Patriot act 1 and 2 and #3 to come. Stupid people – they all fell for it.

We live in a Representative Republic, not a democracy. And, we are still a very young country, so there is a good chance that down the road this country will cease to exist in its current form.

Almost. All the liberal Democrats want to do is
“change” everything. We don’t need everything
changed. This country has been the GREATEST
many many years in the past, because of the
Christian principles followed, people were kinder,
not much violence, but when God was kicked out of
schools and now the public places, clever devils
have taken over, we see how quickly things can
change. So some of the traditions that made us great
need to be honored and kept (man’\/woman marriages,
no babies aborted, no hankie-pankie in the Oval Office,
no presidential lies, no hand-outs to other countries whose
dictator gets it all, less government, etc.etc. etc.) some
people say the final day is in 2012.

    Who knows.

Political formations never last for long. Even the long-lasting Roman Empire changed its format often.

It will outlast any other form of government. People inherently want to be free. Unless you are a nanny state loving Lib. haha

Once we get rid of Bush and Company it should last. Someone stated wrongly that executive privlege can’t keep them in office and this is false. Bush crafted an addendum whereas in the event of a national emergency elections could possibly be suspended and he remain in office.
