With a law degree, you could be a lawyer. Without, you could get a job at a political thinktank, or as a staffer for a politician, or be a campaigner, or work for a party’s local, state, or national headquarters. Or you could go into business, which doesn’t require a business degree.

Ever thought about teaching? Even if you don’t want to do the whole high school thing, you can get a Masters Degree and teach at a Junior College or get a doctorate and teach at a University.

Or you can do law…Pays better, but teachers get summers off!

Well, a lawyer comes to mind, as well as speech writer, professor, public relations, and journalist.

But since you are still in high school, here’s what I suggest:

When you are in college, take classes in a bunch of different disciplines (you’ll have to do this your first 2 years anyway), like writing classes, political science, philosophy, journalism, etc. and find what you really like. College students tend to change their majors anyway, so you don’t have to make a decision now–take some classes and find out what you really like.

Political journalist.

Become a lawyer. I am in the same boat as you are and we have the same interest. I am going to go to a law school. As long as you have good people skills you will do fine.
